Wow, that was painful to read. Honestly i didn't think we were allowed to link articles from that site. I like the subtle jabs at the Pelicans front office and stabbing Williams in the back, now that he is gone.

My favorite part was how they described him as a warrior that battles through the pain and injuries. But then point out how he is pretty much been injured every year since 10 grade and missed time every season. Or the part where he could have been a football legend. But he got hit in the 9th grade playing football, his leg swole up, so he never played it again. The article is just riddled with these nuggets.

I'll get bashed for hating on him or whatever. But that's just a BS revision of history..

I thought the same thing when I read it
Gordon had 3/4 or one year when he looked like a difference maker, based on that (and the trade) he got 58MM

whatever
If he's good this year (history does not bode well) then all the better
if he's not he will be someone else's albatross
