Am I the only Louisianan that thinks gumbo is vastly overrated? I don't dislike it, but it's just kind of ok. I've always liked the creamy seafood bisques much more.

Maybe you just haven't had good gumbo? Are you basing it off what people cook or restaurants? Because there isn't a single restaurant's gumbo i'd rather have over my own.
