Harris was composed, but he was innacurate on a lot of passes and showed a hitch on several tosses to Fournette. He is clearly the best we have and will (hopefully) improve as the season goes on, but he isn't ready to be "set free" yet.

This is absolutely true.

The easiest pass for a QB to complete is the post route which you saw Harris complete twice for TD's(one called back for penalty). The most pedestrian college QB can make those throws. A few of his other passes were very suspect and would have likely been picked off against a better team.

Tiger fans were believing the hype of Harris but Harris has yet to show much QB acumen in a game with victory on the line.

We only won that game because #7 is a beast and the best player in college football. The only blame I lie with Leslie is that he recruits athletic but very crappy QBs.

I think Harris improves at home against Auburn but expect more of the same through out the year. If Harris improves with experience we'll have a shot at the SEC... If Harris gives us more of the same then 3-4 losses likely.
