I have both. The bullet one is good if say you use a 30 cal for just 30 cal rifles. One has to buy for each cal rifle to work good.
The one that mounts in the end of a barrel is good too!. It will get you within 2" at 25 yards.

Thanks. I ordered a .30cal for my .308. If it sucks, I'm only out $20.
