Apple is the best. Great repair service experience

I have a late 2011 MacbookPro that has worked as well as I could have ever dreamed for the past almost 4 years. Recently however, my shite got all fricked up due to some design flaw that a certain percentage of Macbooks had. See: MacBook Pro Repair Extension Program for Video Issues
Apple offered a free repair for this issue. I brought my computer into the Apple store on a Thursday for it to be sent to a repair center in Memphis. By Tuesday I was called to come pick it up. To my pleasant surprise, not only did they replace the problem parts, but they also replaced some cosmetic things, just cuz.

They're customer service is absolutely fantastic. My iPhone 5S has something whacky going on with the screen. In the morning i did a cloud backup. I walked in, showed them the issue, they asked me about two questions and within 5 minutes they were opening a new one for me. Setting up the new one from my cloud backup took more time than anything.

So you're sayin Apple is the best because they put out shitty products that break? Man, some of you Apple fanboys take ridiculous to a whole new level.

The reason they do that is because you overpaid to begin with.

I'm with you Chop. Will never buy a PC again

Apple buys the same exact parts everyone else is using. They slap on an apple sticker, a terrible OS, and charge people double for the same parts the PC users have.
You right, Apple is the best at swindling.

Lol you're an idiot.

Considering you paid double what a comparable PC would have cost, you should get great customer service.

Other than the terrible OS part, he's basically correct.

This. My rig smashes anything Apple offers specs/price wise.

Why is it that, when you buy a PC, it is loaded with worthless software, anti-virus trials, etc? When you get a MAC, it comes clean.
Not that this should be a deal breaker, but it has been the case every time I have purchased or seen someone's purchase.

Third-party software companies pay manufacturers to do that. Adds a little padding to their low profit margins. It varies from model to model, actually. Most companies don't put any third-party trial-ware on their higher-end machines. After the superfish embarrassment, I believe Lenovo said it would stop preloading third-party software on all their PCs. If you go the boutique route, like Falcon Northwest, Maingear, etc., they'll all be bloatware-free.
As for first-party software from the manufacturer, that'll probably never stop. It's there to augment Windows features, and is of course more noticeable on Windows PCs because they clearly aren't native applications. Whereas anything "first-party" that you might find on an Apple computer is going to be Apple-branded and won't create the perception of intrusion. Likewise, Microsoft-branded PCs are going to be "clean" in the same way.

Yeah, they should have loaded Windows 8 instead.

Apple is the master race.
I have three Macbook pros and an air with the oldest one a 2009 model that all still work flawlessly. Only thing i've had to change out is batteries. I'll never go back to PC. I had two Windows computers that shite out on me between year one and two.

I love their service. Bought an Ipad mini 2 a year ago. Was freezing up. Had bought it brand new at Best Buy. Walked in, they couldn't fix it, gave me a new one on the spot with full warranty. I like the way you can make appointments as well.
