Moving to Lafayette was the best decision I ever made.

I still love my BR friends, but man the people in general over here in LFT are just more laid back and friendly.

Lafayette women > BR women. Not even close.

I don't have a problem with Lafayette people. I worked there for quite some time and Baton Rouge is far better, imo. It is sad when there is more to do on an average night in Baton Rouge than in Lafayette. On a Monday or Tuesday or Wednesday night everything in Lafayette is dead.

The trashy people that do come into town from the outskirts of Lafayette on the busy nights destroy any trashy people in Baton Rouge. I mean destroy. Lafayette has some trash.

The women comment is ridiculous. Unless you like Jersey Shore, too much makeup, hairstylists. They do have some fine women but to act as if they are far better than Baton Rouge is laughable.

Lafayette is far too overrated. Though it does have its moments and bright spots.

Lafayette women > BR wo

It sucks, but you are dead on accurate. The key to living in BR is to not cave in and continue the cycle, but to try and be laid back.
