I wanna be pissed at starlin but he has been hitting better. fricking pitcher is rattled and he goes on the first pitch. He just has a really hard time hitting it more than 6 feet off the ground.

88 pitches through 7. He's in good shape there.

Castro might have redeemed himself right there. Great catch.

When was the last time a team got no hit twice in the same season?
Wonder if it's ever happened to same team twice in same month?

Double no-hit teams

1917: Chicago Whitesox
1923: Philadelphia Athletics
1960: Philadelphia Phillies
1965: Chicago Cubs

1971: Cincinnati Reds
1973: Detroit Tigers
1977: California Angels
1996: Colorado Rockies
2001: San Diego Padres

More than I thought, especially from 1960 on.

Arrieta has been so good all year. Especially tonight. Team has lost 4 in a row and he comes in and just dominates. I know it's not yet over but incredible performance thus far

Probably because the link I got them from was old. Lol

Addy is the truth! No no through 8. It's happening.

Joe Maddon is like the no hitter magnet. This would be the 7th time he's been the manager on either side of a no hitter.

You know aint nobody saying a word to Arrieta in the dugout
Posted on 8/30/15 at 9:41 pm to Lsuhoohoo
They're trying to remember a botched throw to first IIRC re: CC

4 of those were within about a calendar year in 2009-2010

I love watching the superstitious shite players do when something like this is going down.
