It's always funny when kids from the 94th best law school in the country act like they're at Harvard.
The gap between Southern and LSU is a lot smaller than the gap between LSU and Texas, Michigan, UCLA and a whole lot of other state schools.

i agree there is an arrogance at LSU that always blew my mind, both in undergrad and esp in law school

Not that I advocate acting like a douche when talking to someone else but LSU law is much better than that ranking. Actually take a look at their job statistics, if you want to practice in Louisiana LSU is the school you want to attend. Also LSU law is ranked in the top 10 every year for best value and underrated law schools in the country.
