Called on my way home from work, this was their response to the question "Now that you have seen the Tigers live, give me your thoughts on the team?"

-On the hoof, said LSU was one of the most impressive looking teams they saw this preseason on the camp tours. Said the football players at LSU just look scary.

-Braden Gall(Les Miles Hater) said he didn't see a better set of running backs collectively than @ LSU. Said we all know about Fournette and Williams but #4 and #5 were absolute beastttt(deepened his voice). Houston Nutt chimed in giggling saying that we are absolutely loaded at this position "what an impressive group."

-Scouts around the practice said #18 Tre White was the best player on the field. :BOOM:

-Said Jamal Adams sticks out the most as he is the energy of the defense because of his emotion and leadership. Made alot of plays and shined on special teams.

-Said both qbs brought good things to the table but when they questioned the team Brandon Harris name always came out first. Said Jennings played better than they thought he would but he didn't bring the explosiveness, athletic ability, and wow factor to the field that Brandon Harris did.

-Brandon Harris has gotten bigger and it shows. Were extremely impressed with his transformation and it showed on the field. Only thing they need to see now is the mental aspect of the game.

-Nutt expects to see both qbs in the first game and then thinks LSU will go from there.

-Gall said if LSU gets average qb play he said LSU will be the toughest team to beat in the SEC based off what he has seen but since it's up in the air he can't give them better than 10-2.

-Nutt predicated before preseason less than 8 wins......said he has changed his mind but wouldn't give a #.

-Fast and physical was mentioned.

#18?

Great notes tho. Thanks.
This team puts it together, they could be scary good. And fast is definitely a word that comes to mind. FAST

Braden Gall saying 10-2 is saying LSU goes 15-0 with a 20 point margin of victory in realitiger speak. Dude hates him some Les Miles

Of course both QBs play against McNeese. It will be 42-0 at halftime.

That read really got my juices flowing! I bet my statement gets taken completely out of context on this board. Oh well, so be it.

I love my Tigers and won't apologize for it. Let's kick some serious arse this year fellas!!

wow factor? this "wow factor" is meaningless. I don't want a QB with wow factor. I want one that can lead the team and throw complete passes. win games.

Awesome to hear and good info!
We know the talent is there (only the last 3 national champs have a better 5 year recruiting class average score).
The excitement, leadership, and drive seem to be there much more so in recent years..
Just need a little luck, which we're definitely due for.

Until it's proven they can consistently complete a forward pass I'll have doubts.
