I was thrown from a jeep when we flipped in a ditch. I walked away with bruises and a head ache.

i was 16 in 2002, bought cigarettes and walked out of a gas station.

there was a car crash right when i opened the door, across the street , big collision, sent debris flying everywhere, a big arse tire off of the expedition that was involved sailed inches from my head and crashed through one of the windows of the store. i was looking down packing the box of cigs as all this happened, heard the impact of the wreck but didn't look up. once the glass shattered, i looked at my two friends in the car who were looking at me with their jaws dropped to the floor.

cool experience, wouldn't do again

Head on collision, cops estimated the other car was going 75. Driver's side tire was sitting on the floor board. I had a scrape on my arm from the airbag.

I've been shot at, stabbed, jumped out of planes, and was T boned at the intersection of Washington and Carrollton by a car doing 50mph.

I think I should be dead.

Just mentioned this in another post.

Almost drowned in a class 5 Pillow Rock rapids on the Upper Gauley River in West Virginia. A woman died in the exact same spot the next day. Got pictures of all of it because it happened where the guide service set up to take pictures.

I'll post pic in a second

You can see my paddle sticking out of water. I was upside down with feet still locked on back of boat. Green sleeve you can see is the guy in front of me. Entire raft flipped soon after

Flipped an ATV while trying to load it into the back of a truck. It should have crushed me. I manged to kick it to one side just enough as it was coming down on top of me.

Spun out on I10 going 80 MPH in the rain. I 360'd in front of an 18 wheeler and hydroplaned into a ditch and managed to miss the tree line.

Only damage was to the car that only needed a realignment

Driving a car down a divided highway late at night. Some idiot was driving probably 20 MPH above the speed limit on the wrong side of the highway coming right at me (over a hill so I didn't originally see him). Had to swerve to avoid him luckily he didn't swerve the same way.

ETA: Was also in the tornado path in Tuscaloosa in 2011.. but that story is less interesting.

Yes, twice.

Wrecked a 3 wheeler at a young age and slammed head first into a dirt bank. At a minimum cheated a broken neck.

Was under a vehicle that caught on fire.

Wiped out snow skiing and went head over heels about 6-7 times; when I stopped a pine tree was an inch from my face.

One time I was helping my crew pull some high voltage lines. I had to install a 250 amp breaker in a hot panel. It was putting up a fight and as I pushed I started to feel a tingling sensation. Pulled away and looked, I had accidentally switched it on and my hand was sweating down into the lugs. I went outside and just sat on the steps shaking for a while.

Not really. I've been in two decent car accidents but I have always walked away. I just don't see myself dying from anything other than disease or old age.

Tried to roll out on a craigslist prostitute back in high school and me and my associate were fired upon by her pimp. A bullet whizzed by my head. I didn't even bang her.

Got the green light on my bike, I couldn't clip in the first time. As I was halfway through the intersection, a car whizzed past me going 50mph with its driver staring at her phone texting through her red light.

Got hit (on foot) by a Suburban XL going about 30-35. Elbow went through the windshield. Put a softball sized hole in it. Flew about 15 ft on a sidewalk. Bounced up, looked at my arm and saw some bone, immediately started going into shock and was fading. No broken bones, but wicked nice scar on my forearm from 18 sutures and about 40 stitches.

Moral of the story...don't run in the streets on Halloween night at ECU.
