Ruston was good in 1991. Not sure the last time they have beat Neville or WM

Ruston hasn't beaten WM since 1990.

Watched Dutchtown & DS tonight
Roddy (DS) did not impress me tonight. Hopefully it was just a tough night for him.
Left at 7-0 Dutchtown and they were driving on DS.

I just got back from Cajun Field. Notre Dame beat St. Thomas More 13-7 but dominated the whole game. STM'S only score came after their first possession (a 3 and out) on a fumbled punt return. They only had to go about 20 yards for the TD but their offense was stuffed for the rest of the game.
ND had a TD nullified on a bullshite call. The QB reached out with the ball and it clearly crossed the goal line and then a STM player grabbed the ball off of the ground. Terrible call by the refs. Would have been a TD in any replay. ND scored after to tie and then took the lead on a pick-6, but muffed the snap on the PAT. Should have been a 2 TD win by ND.
Not sure if ND is that good or if STM is bad.

WM freshmen beat Neville 31-0 tonight at Neville. JV and Varsity will be at WM tomorrow. Darbonne Woods Charter vs St Fred tonight was played with 1/2 the lights. St Fred won 21-0.

JJ27, what did you think of the freshman team? The defense is pretty solid, especially the D Line. If the offensive line comes together they have a pretty solid set of skill players too that can put up a lot of points.

So people from SE Louisiana care about high school football?

I watched them against Parkway, wasn't able to go last night. They are explosive. Good Hope had some massive Linemen. #91 will be an absolute monster. He knocked Parkway's QB's helmet off last week and he was shaken up. Several of those guys could be contributors quickly for varsity. I don't see any this year, but it won't take them long. WM freshmen haven't lost in some absurd amount of time. I believe I was told 15 years last week. Shows just how hard it is to win it all.

He has all the potential in the world, just has to get his head on straight. Very polite young man but is having to learn how to behave in class and he needs to stay away from the wrong crowd.

I was pretty impressed with ND. First time I've ever seen STM's offense repeatedly stuffed series after series. ND moved the ball well all night too. ND should dominate 2A

ND's starting RB (who's supposed to be very good) hurt his ankle last night. No word on how severe.

Chalmette leads Salmen 6-0 and I guess is looking alright.
We'll have to bore the hell out of the better teams on our schedule to have a chance

Acadiana beats a pretty good Cecilia team 27-6. Cecilia will do well in 4-A. They are huge on the line and they have a great Qb and Rb. Kevin Moore will have a monster year at LB. He was bringing the wood. Acadiana will be young but stout this year.

West Monroe 21 Neville 8 with 5 minutes left
