I watched beyond scared straight the other day, I know that 2 mil isn't getting me in there for 2 years.
I would need about 10 mil before I considered it.

That'd be so easy I'd feel obligated to take one up the butt to not feel guilty for stealing the 2 million.

Unless you are in a place like Angola, most prisons are fairly tame.
A friend of mine was a guard at one in Beaumont for years and said it was monotonous.

I did 10 days for DUI once. It felt like 2 months. Just as a concept, I'd do it for 2 mil., but I don't think you folks know how much it would suck.
Don't break the law, kids. Jail fricking sucks.

is there a record dragging you down the rest of your life (when finding employment) that you did two years in prison?
Why the frick would your record matter with $2 million. You realize how stupid that is right?

Nope. 2 years away from family and other things I love
I can be happy without 2 million

Because $2 million doesn't go as far as you think. Plus, it would be smart to have some sort of employment just for insurance.

I'd do 5 if I got 5 million. no tax.

You do understand that in today's world, $2 million after taxes is not really permanently life-changing kind of money, right?

Two million is not "set up for the rest of your life and funding your kids trust fund" kind of money like it was back in the day.
It would set you and your family up pretty nicely unless you just went retarded with it.
Pay off mortgage, kids college paid for + plus extra, boost in retirement money means you would be able to retire earlier, etc.

It most certainly is for the 99% of people

A fairly intelligent person with $2 million would be able to find employment. 2 years=low level crime, there are high level felons who find employment. Money talks
