A friend asked who I thought LSU should try and schedule. I said that we should try and even up some old series. Decided to look this up thinking about how LSU stands all time against other teams.

It looks like Alleva is doing a decent job getting some of these teams on the schedule. Realistically I'm sure it's impossible to get some of these teams outside of bowl games. I'd like to see us schedule UAB, Army, and SMU since we're going to schedule cupcake games anyways.

Team ; Record Against ; Last Played/ Will Be Played
Army ; 0-1 ; 1931
BYU ; 0-0 ; 2017
Cincinnati ; 0-1 ; 1897
Colorado State ; 1-1 ; 1992
Duke ; 1-1 ; 1958
Eastern Michigan ; 0-0 ; 2015
Florida State ; 2-7 ; 1991
Georgia Tech ; 7-12 ; 2008
Iowa ; 1-1 ; 2013
Jacksonville State ; 0-0 ; 2016
Maryland ; 0-3 ; 1955
Nebraska ; 0-5-1 ; 1987
Notre Dame ; 5-6 ; 2014
Ohio State ; 1-1-1 ; 2007
Oklahoma ; 1-1 ; 2004
Penn State ; 0-2 ; 2009
Rutgers ; 0-1 ; 1922
SMU ; 0-1-1 ; 1934
South Alabama ; 0-0 ; 2016
Southern California ; 1-1 ; 1984
Southern Mississippi ; 1-1 ; 2016
Stanford ; 0-1 ; 1977
Syracuse ; 1-1 ; 2015, 2017
Texas ; 7-9-1 ; 2019, 2020
UAB 1-1 ; 2013
UCLA ; 0-0 ; 2021, 2024
Virginia Tech ; 1-1 ; 2007

Games on the schedule are in bold.

Plenty of more teams that we've never played, but felt I should only list the ones that LSU is currently scheduled to play.

LSU is supposed to play Oklahoma in 2027 and 2028 but those games weren't listed on LSUSports.net.

We can't schedule UAB. They no longer have a football team.

Isn't Jacksonville State 1AA (or FCS or whatever it's called) or did they jump up divisions?

We would win these games if played today.

I read somewhere that that's on the schedule for 2027 and 2028 now.

Florida State and Nebraska have historically owned LSU. It's time to schedule a home and home. That is a game that would be worth the loss of revenue in payment towards the visitors. If either of those 2 teams played a home game in Tiger Stadium, the crowd would be the same as if Bama was in town.
