What kind of velocity are you losing going to a pistol length? the 17HMR is an all velocity cartridge with very little weight. Wonder how effective it will be out of a pistol? Now I want one

hadnt shot it
hadnt even took it home. It has a 6.5" barrel. I bet it will be loud as a son of a bitch though. I have a 22lr and 22mag revolver. Just wanted to have one of these to play with, especially for the price.
