I just got back today from a week in the area. Let's just say when dealing with any clerk, waiter, driver or other service person there I never mistook their work ethic or attitude for that of a Mississippian.

Maybe culturally in the NW they want to work?

Add that to the list of why the NW is such a desirable place to live. I have one daughter in college up there (all the rest went to LSU) and we own property N of Seattle. We hope to relocate in the next year or two.

I notice this in CO vs. the south. The people are friendly and helpful. You get your drones but they are a lot higher quality drones than in the south.

yet EVERY low end place by my house says now hiring. The signs list starting salaries, the lowest that posts is Sprouts whihc is offer 9.25 STARTING hrly wage. Amazing.
