Packers record says otherwise.

Ok fine... He set a record against the Lions third string in a game that didn't matter to either team...... Now if he had done that in mid-season with something on the line I would give him more credit...

However he is a decent QB.. A backup that can give you a decent chance to win any game he plays... Teams keep signing him for this reason.....

It's Matt Flynn's universe. We're just extras in it.

Second this. I live in Wisconsin and watched most of packers games these years. Matt Flynn is solid in packers offense system and was a main contributor in their race for playoff two years ago after Aaron Rogers injury. I don't understand why there were all praises and blessings when some other former LSU player made a NFL practice squads or roaster, while Flynn, a nice person, good representative of LSU with great work ethic and one of two LSU QBs remains in the league, got bashed just because he is given one more chance to compete?

How so... Both teams had made the playoffs and were in the NON injury mode when the game was played......... Now 6 tds is nice but in a game that was basically a preseason game it losses its luster. Go back and watch the tape of the game..........

Because preseason games have a bunch of players who won't even make a roster. If it was such an easy thing to do, get out there on the field and make your millions.

Both teams were playing for a higher seed.
All the starters were playing for both teams.
Stafford threw for about 500 yards, but I guess it didn't matter to him either.

That isn't true

Aaron Rodgers wasn't hurt, he was resting. Lions were playing for the 5 seed

Lions played their starters

if only there was a thing called Google that could tell you these things

Packers rested their starters, Lions were playing to avoid the Saints in round 1.

That actually makes his performance even more impressive

I'm confused.

The packers had already locked up the #1 seed. That is why they rested their starters

With the NFL roster limitations, that doesn't mean they rested all of them

I think it makes it more impressive

No they weren't. The Pack was already the #1 seed and the Lions had no way of improving their position.......

No they weren't.... Go back and look at the tape...

Against GB's 2nd and third string... I will never know why he was even playing in that game. Except for stat padding.........
