Real life you don't get jack shite right. Well guess what, t ball is not real life.
Back in the day five year olds were up at crack of dawn slipping hogs, milking goats and burying their mama when she was 33.
Give me a goddamn break. I tell my kids good job, a participation award is like a permanent good job.

This site is pure entertainment every time I visit. Some good points sprinkled in between cultural differences. There is no guide to parenting. Folks simply remember the days of old and try to tweak bad rearing memories and harness and recycle good ones.
I am, personally, a disciplinarian who feels my job is to raise my children to know right from wrong, be compassionate, helpful, and well mannered while being fearless. Friendship should occur closer to or well into adulthood.
