Nathan's, but must it be Slidell?

Does La Provence have a dinner service on Saturday? I've only brunched there but it's just about 20 minutes from The Dell. Much better restaurant in my opinion.

If the guy is going to drive 20 minutes out of the way, he's better off going to New Orleans

We want to stay in the area and have a social to attend near the two places. I haven't been to either. I was able to get a table at Michael's but I see a lot of the recs point to Nathans.

Palmetto's is a solid choice as well.

Done Sal & Judys plenty. Wife wants to try something different. I've heard good things about both establishments

Not sure if you've already decided, but I recently went to Joe's Ristorante in Slidell. Italian place, I think it's fairly new, off Oak Harbor Blvd near the golf course. It was very good.

Speckled T's

ON weekend they have a seafood buffet.

It's good.

The best restaurant in Slidell is Christophers on Carey. Really solid fine dining.
