The rule is actually more convuluted than you can ever imagine

Alcohol OVER 5% is allowed Meaning you can openly drink bourbon, vodka etc etc, but beer is not actually allowed so that must be put into a cup

Yeah, my gf's sister told me that, but I thought she was bullshitting. She said nobody will stop you if you're just pounding fricking bourbon, but if you're sipping a beer, you've gotta be stopped.

What if I'm drinking a real beer with over 5% abv?
