We have Old Republic for our home and we just renewed for another year. In the first year we only used it once, but for two items: repaired the water heater and replaced garbage disposal for a single $60 service fee. If it weren't for our HVAC being 15 years old, we would not have renewed it for a second year, but we are hoping it finally craps out soon.
So, for the one time we used it last year, it was convenient; however, I don't think the $425 yearly fee plus $60 service fee balanced out the work we had done. If the HVAC craps out though, then it would work to our advantage.

Its only 3 years old. I think the HVAC is the one thing that alarms me enough to pay the monthly fee.
