On the way to my deer camp last season and bearing went out on trailer I was pulling in ferriday. Ran into a couple of good-ol-boys that were a lot of help and got me back on the road in about an 1 1/2 hour. Also stop there for groceries / beer on the way most of the time. Nothing special but there worse for sure

Agreed. I've passed through Ferriday at least 20 times. No issues passing thru. Nice enough folks, a few gas stations, a sonic, etc. there's definitely worse.
Waterproof, on the other hand. . . Nothing. Passed thru twice and made sure to avoid every other time I was up that way.
