Any auto parts store or shop will take it. They get paid for the used oil

Can't believe hasn't been mentioned yet...I know of three people who had their vehicle overfilled and one oil pan cracked. One overfill they never drained any, 6 qts over full! No way to know if they drained all old oil out, or what quality oil or filter they use. On a $30k truck? I'll pass. Btw, I live in the country, used oil goes on the fence row!
