Does everyone forget that Bregman might have had the most immature moment as a freshman going on a late night Twitter rant calling out everyone and their mothers shortly before having multiple multi error games?
But yeah... Byrd is immature for seeing through PM and getting the frick. Lol.

did Bregman leave the team and blame it on "no longer having fun?" No. Instead, he recognized his immaturity, focused on making himself a better player, and earned a 2nd overall pick in the MLB draft.

I just said it wasn't a secret. Keep up grandpa.

It's not just the coach that is expected to compete for national championships.
college ball is pressure packed at EVERY school. at LSU, it's very intense. the coaches have to win to keep their job and they know the dedication and commitment required of every player to win. at LSU, the media and fanbase also add much pressure.
it's not for everyone and kudo's for the kid for realizing it's not for him. it opens a schollie for someone else. some kids "dream" of playing MLB diminish as they get older and that's the way it is and should be. not to mention the family pressure he may have felt because of his dad. not saying dad put extra pressure on but the kid may have felt it nevertheless.
to blame the coach for this is stupid.

No. He was forced to delete his Twitter. And told to keep his mouth shut. And you think his draft position has anything to do with his maturity as a freshman? Wow you people.

I love the grandpa responses. That usually means that you have an empty quiver.
Now once again real slow.
What are some specific examples of how differently Byrd was treated.
Is that so hard for you?

I think it's extremely immature.
You don't?
Posted on 7/31/15 at 3:45 pm to ell_13
no, but him staying with the team despite being an immature child like Grayson surely led him to a good position years later going into the draft. Grayson will never sniff the first round or a college world series. Shut up, kid

well Grayson isn't pulling in 1M a year annual salary either
Wouldn't you say that puts a lot more pressure on him? And I didn't say he can't handle the pressure

Wasn't he basically given a gag order after that too? And bregman was known as the hardest worker on the team. He called people out for lack of hustle iirc
Posted on 7/31/15 at 3:53 pm to ell_13
You're really showing your stupidity in this one, Ell
Posted on 7/31/15 at 3:54 pm to lsufball19
He was calling them out for staying out late.
Posted on 7/31/15 at 3:55 pm to PapaPogey
Where did Grayson mention starting or not having to win a spot?

I wouldn't quit a job because I hate my boss. I don't have to like someone to work with of for them.
