quote:
Jefferson was waived so that Tampa Bay could have a replacement for Da'Quan Bowers, a projected starter who suffered a probable season-ending injury.
why didn't anyone else pick him up?
quote:
Of the 15 QBs who competed, Jefferson was the only quarterback to finish among the top five in each test during the event. Among the quarterbacks, Jefferson finished first in the 20-yard shuttle, tied for first in the bench press, and finished third in the 40-yard dash and the vertical jump.
how did he throw at the combine? who, before the combine, thought jefferson wouldn't perform well running fast and jumping high? his grades were low because he was fundamentally the worst QB prior to the combine and was after the combine. i'm sure every QB it the combine was invited to someone's training camp and many more that weren't. that doesn't really help prove jefferson was good. Lee stayed at a camp much, much longer than jefferson.

quote:I am NOT arguing that Jefferson should have played in the NFL. Are you? If not, why are even asking this question.quote:why didn't anyone else pick him up?
Jefferson was waived so that Tampa Bay could have a replacement for Da'Quan Bowers, a projected starter who suffered a probable season-ending injury.
quote:Well, he was better than Lee.
his grades were low because he was fundamentally the worst QB prior to the combine and was after the combine.
quote:Huh?
i'm sure every QB it the combine was invited to someone's training camp and many more that weren't.
quote:He was invited by the NFL. Lee was not. Those are facts.
that doesn't really help prove jefferson was good.
quote:Lee was cut. Jefferson was waived.
Lee stayed at a camp much, much longer than jefferson.
