Not necessarily. There is still a process to go through for those types of clauses. Given that we already paid him the sizeable money that was guaranteed in his contract, even with the clause, it is not easy to recoup. Also, to protect the team via the cap, this deal was likely held until after June 1 and then Galette's pec injury complicated the issue more.
