Just heard on 910am. Did anyone else hear this or has heard this? I thought he had a lot of upside.

Given everyone's performance in summer ball, I'm surprised anyone would bail. Seems like just about every spot is up for grabs.

If so that's a shitty blow, I had him starting 2B...and he's a legacy, so I dont get why he would transfer

This would make no sense for him to transfer. He's a legacy and he has a very good shot at starting next season.

He was definitely in competition for 2nd and 3rd starting jobs. Defensively he did fine, positions are wide open as well. Once he added some weight and bulk he had some nice potential.

Well that is what I am thinking it makes no sense for him to transfer. Something must have happened.

I would not put too much stock in stats from Cape Cod summer league this year - the pitching has been dominant and not many have put up decent offensive numbers. I think Biggio from Notre Dame is only hitting 255 but made All Star game and projects in first round next year.

LSU's pitching is doing well this summer and the fr that were sent to the Cape and elsewhere had very few at bats this spring due to veteran lineup. Once they get back and go through Fall ball these guys will be capable and the goal is to get that lineup set before SEC play begins.

Must be some good JUCO players coming in. Last I heard he was going to be in the running for starting SS.
