re: What's your credit score?

Mine is in the 650 range. While starting the home
Buying process a year and a half ago found out mine was around like 520. Looked into it and found out that Sallie Mae had fricked up on some of my loans that I had put on hold for 12 months and it showed up as me having multiple 90+ and 120+ day late hits. Also had a small hit from a credit card I had in college that I MAYBE put $50 on that my mom was supposed to pay that she never did

After a couple months of battling Sallie Mae they actually looked up and listen to our year old phone convo and heard proof that they told me they were on hold for a certain date. So they removed the late hits and I called Cap One and had the credit card one removed as well.

Ended up being ok I'm the end but it delayed our house buying process for a few months that was miserable.
