I been saying/asking the same questions. It's a smooth troll of ignorance/curiosity backed with some 'proof' he put out on a Dropbox one night.
But after his "hope to bloom into the engineer I know I can be" bullshite, I retract my apologies and think he's trolling, just better than I originally thought.

I am not trolling. I am a real person. Why was my evidence not enough.
You act as though I am offending you. The only other way I can proof it is if we talk via phone Skype or email.
