I've only been once, and I left most my food on the table. Worst experience of my life.

Interesting.
Well seems to be agreement here.
I like the place , though.
I ate at the bar last night and this fella from thibodaux was there eating , as well ,and we struck up a conversation about the food. He was once a cook at Politze in Thibodaux and he was also sayin how much he liked the food there. A table of people from Lafayette came and asked to speak to the owner and he came out and the heaped praise on him sayin this was good Acadiana style food and , of course , I agreed.
No issue with the posts in this thread, just saying some others have a much different opinion and I suppose coincidentally , it was primarily people from areas with a tradition of good food , which I wouldn't say Baton Rouge has much in comparison.
Regardless, I've eaten there a few times and enjoyed it very much.
Like I said , reminds me more of home than any other restaurant I've eaten at in Baton Rouge.
