and I'm 100% sure elsewhere

Not only do they punch a handcuffed man in the face, but plant a gun...all knowing they were on camera.

quote:

Philadelphia cop punched a handcuffed man in the face, called him a pussy, and then planted a gun on him in full view of a camera operated by a witness.

The victim was charged with a firearms violation, but the charge was dropped when it became evident that the gun was planted on him. Watch at approximately 0:32 as the cop pulls the gun out of his pocket, only to act like he found it on the victim a few seconds later.

Still, despite the evidence which lead to the drop of charges, The Philadelphia Police Department refused to discipline the abusers. In their statement, the department said:

In accordance with the collective bargaining agreement between the City and the FOP; the department’s Internal Affairs Unit sent this case to the Police Board of Inquiry with the recommendation for disciplinary action against the officer.

Once this case was heard before the PBI, they concluded that no disciplinary action should be given. The original arrest against the male was dismissed .

Couldn't agree more, but I would like to see some of the same zest by the public toward the asshats that do break the law.

Holy shite.

Cop who planted the gun should be going to max security federal prison for the rest of his life. No parole. That is absolutely disgraceful.

If not for the video the perp would have been buttfricked.

2011 video and now this is news? Something is fishy here.

Cop pulled gun from suspect's pocket right before punch. He made a comment about not having anything on him, then finds gun, then punches. And shows gun to camera to show what was found. NOT PLANTED!

Without reading, I'm going to guess they kicked this guy's arse in numbers and then called him a pussy. That is pretty standard Philly affair after living there for 7 months.

Edit: Didn't see the planting of the gun coming, but it doesn't surprise me. The Philidelphia Police Department is the single most corrupt major police force in the nation. It's a city of complete assholes, and they make the LAPD look like just gentlemen in comparison. Hell, they make the OPD look like the Mayberry Sheriff's Department. These assholes also use civil forfeiture to an extremely high extent and don't give a frick about the lives they ruin. They've used civil forfeiture more than the rest of the Northeast combined (including the rest of PA), to the total of over $60 million dollars in 10 years. With only 365 days to do it, no fricking way should they even be able to steal over 6 million dollars worth of their own citizen's property unlawfully within that timeframe.

They really should be brought to trial for all this, but due to the assholery that their city is famous for, the police just openly laughs at their own citizens, flip them the bird, and call them pussies for not being man enough to march down to the police station to kick 400 officers' asses. I would cheer if those black people they loved so much raided their police department and just beat the frick out of them, and then just left them there like they've been treating their average citizen for years.

Looked like the cop dug in the bad guys' pocket before punching him. As the dirty guy was going down, the gun is in the cops hand.
