I've been to adjoining Lincoln Co hunting in the past. Never been to Kalispell. I loved the area but I'm not sure I could adjust to the winters. Culcha won't be a problem in the area but Grizzly and Mountain Lion may . What line of work are you looking at (if you don't mind my asking )?

Gorgeous, but pricey.

i live a couple hours south in Missoula, which i consider a far superior place to live and work. Kalispell and Whitefish are fun to visit and good stops for Glacier and Bob Marshall trips. But not my thing for living.

Great place, but I haven't been in 20 years.

Didn't go to Kalispell but I recently spent some time in Glacier, Polson, and Big Fork. I fell in love with the area. It is absolutely beautiful and if you are into the outdoors, there is tons to do. Great microbrew scene also. Getting accustomed to the winters would definitely be a challenge, but if my circumstances were different, I would give relocating there some serious thought.

Heaven on earth if you can tolerate 9 months of winter.
