So the wife (sorry, no pics) and I are in the market for a new mattress and don't want to pay the inflated prices that you find at retail stores, so were buying online.

We've narrowed it down to the Casper, Tuft & Needle, and Leesa, mattresses. All have great reviews, which makes deciding a bit tougher.

Does anyone have any experience with any of these? How do you like it and how firm/soft do you find it to be?

I bought a Sleep Innovations mattress off of Amazon for less than $500 and it is the most comfortable mattress I have ever slept on.

Sleep on a tempurpedic mattress at the in laws and didn't like it. Too hot and much too firm. Felt like I was sleeping on my driveway.

There's like 20 different models from soft to firm. Never had an issue with heat, but we got the breeze line.

I have 2 of them now, king size and a queen in 12 inch versions. It's a little more firm than some people like apparently. The 10 inch versions have more memory foam and less supportive foam, so I think its a bit squishier.

Love my Sleep Innovation mattresses.

Go to Wholesale Mattress and Factory of Fld.

I know just cause I asked, he can make you a memory foam mattress with box springs in a queen for $999. Can also make it a memory foam mattress top for same price.

1) pay around $500 for 12" king size memory foam from overstock or other discount place

2) keep current box spring(s)

3) cover box springs with cut to fit 3/4" plywood when memory foam comes in.

Never slept better, and this is our second memfoam mattress. Plywood made the diff.

We've had a Casper for a month and we love it.
Use the promo code COLIN to save $50.

I did a TON of research on this before buying and as best I can tell the only real difference in Tempurpedic is that they do tend to last longer than the other brands out there.

For me... I decided I would rather spend $500 every 3-4 years on a Sleep Innovations mattress than $5,000-$7,000 every 10 years on a Tempurpedic.

Wife and I recently bought a king Serta IComfort, best decision we ever made and worth every penny. Will never go back to a cheap mattress again.

Tuft and needle is firm as frick. Worst sleep of my life, and I have two young kids. Finally had to return it after 2 weeks.

Go to SAMs

I have heard nothing but good things about Casper. The 100 day return policy is pretty nice also.
