Quickly scanning through the tracks because I'm about to walk out the door, but I really like this version of Wilco vs. Sky Blue Sky.

I'm liking the raw lo-fi production.

Love the stripped down feel, but its still layered.

I'm on my second listen. It's fantastic. The first round I was too excited to really notice much but it's starting to hit home now.

Jesus Christ. Must be some Sky Blue Sky fans out there. Two down votes. Sorry but I like Summerteeth, Being There, and YHF. To a lesser extent Ghost is Born. I love Mermaid Avenue sessions but the folkier Wilco stuff just doesn't do it for me as album material. Live, I like just about everything they do.

Oh. And I like AM as well, but for some reason it has always felt like an Uncle Tupelo rebound album.

I like Sky Blue Sky fine. It's a great album, but I don't want them to make 10 more Sky Blue Sky type albums. I also think every album since they started fricking around with their "sound" (starting with Sky Blue Sky) has been pretty weak. Not a fan of Wilco the Album or The Whole Love. This, to me, sounds like older Wilco. And I think that's a good thing.

Gotta wholeheartedly disagree. I have never heard a Wilco album I didn't like, but that's just me. Kinda pissed I didn't hear about this til this morning now I've gotta wait all day to hear it tonight.

I'm not a huge wilco fan by any means. I enjoy their stuff when I've listened, but nothing ever really grabbed me. With that said, I'm really liking this album a lot.

Candidate for album of the year for sure.

I listened to it last night before bed. Listened to most of it again this morning on the way to work. I like it so far, and Wilco album's usually grow A LOT on me upon each listen.

Its definitely got an "edge" to it. First song sounds like a nod to Sonic Youth.

A lot of the record does, IMO. I guess Nels has been into Thurston lately.

I haven't really liked Wilco since they let the late-great Jay Bennett go. I don't think they've ever been able to top his work with the band. I'll give this one a shot, though.

Track 9 is my favorite. Freaking fantastic song.
