Yeah, they can be assholes. Our former president made it a point to the PD's to bust people drinking because of a lot of students passing out in the stands during day games. Hopefully the new guy won't put much emphasis on it so us and opposing fans can have a better time pre game.

LSU's solution is simple. Don't have day games; especially early in the season.

I'm sure EMS will be busy for the LSU/AU game in September this year.

About the only things PD's will do at LSU games is haul off drunks and look out for drinking minors. The tailgate atmosphere has gotten so widespread that people go to campus and set up sat dishes to watch games all day, eat, and drink. Then they don't feel like going in to stadium...

top ten LSU-UF game will attract huge pregame crowd. About 8-10 yrs ago the UF game brought about 175K people on campus. The Bama game last year I bet brought 200K on campus. You know it is good when the free parking is gone before noon for a night game!
