Car question - brakes related

Anytime I've changed out brakes I've always done a full job, pads, rotors and calipers.
For the life of me can't find the calipers anywhere online this time. (except used ones on ebay)
Think I'd be ok using the existing calipers?

Yeah you're fine.

Yea, or they probably have a rebuild kit for the calipers (seals) that you could do if you really wanted to. But unless the car is 20+ years old, you'll probably be fine with the same calipers.

Calipers can be reused as long as they aren't leaking/bleeding anywhere.

Eh when I brought it to the dealership they'd always do that. BMW is ridiculous when it comes to brakes. They don't want to do it if it's not the whole thing. Hence why I'm trying to piecemeal the parts together and pay someone else to do it.

I've never heard of anyone changing calipers each time the pass are chanfed. You should not have to change your calipers unless there's s problem. They can last well over 100k miles. Just libricate the guide pins and check for torn seals/boots. Our originals are still on at 105k and 170k.
If you must, rockauto.com usually has great prices. You will just have to pay the core charge and pay shipping to send the old calipers back. Oreilly and some other shops may be able to get them as well and you would not have to worry about shipping something afterwards.
ETA. The rotors should be fine unless you get warping or screw them up by not changing pads.

Calipers have a pretty significant MTBF. I wouldn't change 'em on every brake job.

Agree.
If anything, if the car is older, flush the old brake fluid out.
That does more to help the integrity of the brake system than anything else.

Someone was taking you for a ride. Changing the caliper every time you change the pads is laughable. You never once questioned them?
ETA: I'd love for whatever ding dong downvoted this to tell me what's wrong with what I said.

What in the frick? I've never heard of this nonsense. Calipers are good for the life of the vehicle usually. They aren't a wear and tear component.

Only time I change a caliper is if it's beyond rebuilding ie: piston is damaged, cylinder walls are scored etc. Calipers are a durable not disposable part.
