quote:I mean you're right because everyone there always tells your friends "you gotta come to UC irvine with me man" or "come check out Florida State sometime" but when it comes down to making a life changing decision and putting your name on the piece of paper, no one's making a decision based off of another athlete because what's best for Shea Patterson isn't best for Smith, Manuel, or any other athlete with a completely unique background and they stress that heavily at IMG when you're making your decision. There are great athletes to play with at pretty much any power 5 school in the country so that's a nonfactor
he may not get other guys to commit but he probably will damn sure try

as much as you want to say it's a professional environment, they're still dealing with high school seniors...
it is interesting to wonder what exactly goes on there from a social dynamic. with all the multi-sport talent there (and being so new), does the football team still walk around like the stars of the school like they would in 90% of normal high schools? those kids are probably so used to that
is it so professionalized that they don't even give a shite? how will this affect them on the field against the actual high schools they play? will they develop chemistry?
