Consumers win in this case.
Isn't a bit hypocritical of Walmart to target Amazon in this way though when Amazon is giving away free 30 day Prime accounts for the sale, and Sam's, which is owned by Walmart, charges a fee to shop in the store?

Exactly, but don't underestimate the ignorance of Walmart's target market
