Personally I can't see him leaving OKC to go another small market when teams like the Clippers and Heat come calling.

You guys do realize San Antonio is a small market team and look at what they have done.. Small Market vs Big Market such bull now a days. KD is going to go to the place that gives him the best chance to win and win now.

Clippers? With what money? They will have to get rid of quite a few players. Heat? For what? Dwade doesnt have much tread left on those tires and neither does bosh.

Like i said I get I am biased but at the same time, give me a compelling argument that makes us not a place to come play basketball. I don't know where he will end up but I believe we have just as good a shot as any team. If not a better shot.

I would say you are being extremely biased. I think we have a shot, but to assume we are one of the top destinations at this point is wishful thinking at best. Now, if we go out and have a fantastic year (i.e. top 4 in the west and more than one round in playoffs) and another player (Tyreke or Jrue) shows significant improvement, I think we become much more attractive. I am not sure we can simply assume that since AD plays here, it makes us a favorite to land him. We thought that for years with CP3.

They won rings first, then they were able to lure Aldridge and West. Look at Lebron his first stint in CLE, couldn't get anyone to go to CLE to play with him until he WON a championship in Miami and returned to Cleveland. OKC couldn't land Gasol last year with 2 top 5 players, he preferred to go to a bigger market/city.

San Antonio isn't really the greatest comparison. They haven't been successful by bringing in huge superstar FAs. They've done it with great scouting/drafting, signing the right role players, and great coaching.

That had nothing to do with market size. It had to do with a proven winning tradition with the best coach in the game. NOLA has neither.
