I went to sleep checking my phone and the Cubs were down 4-2 late in the game. I woke up to see they won 5-4 and that Kyle Schwarber single handedly won the game for them.
We are going to see pitching adjust to him. The Reds probably won't be pitching him inside again this series.
Bryant and Rizzo are in big time slumps. It doesn't help that Russell, Castro and Fowler are also not doing much. Someone needs to wake the big bats up and maybe it was Schwarber last night.

Schwarber is going to continue to see great pitches with Bryant and Rizzo behind him. My god am i loving our 2-5 right now. Soler has been hitting well, and only a matter of time before Bryant and Rizzo get going.
Fowler has been struggling with hits, but he's been getting on base at a good clip lately it seams ( i have no data to back this up, just from watching).
This team isn't manufacturing runs. We are getting runners on early and not doing a good job of playing small ball to get them around and in. We are too reliant on multi-hit innings and home runs. I'm still contributing that to youth and inexperience.
