He did look like he was huffing and puffing a bit. I still thought he had some good plays last night, and against Guatemala. Obviously he didn't look great, but who did?
Anyway, back on topic.... Raheem can frick off. Just sell him to City and make money. Or let him rot with the youth squad. I don't fricking care.

It's a must sell at this point. Would everyone be cool with 40M? I would.
But 50 would be even better. I feel like it will drag on for a bit and city will just say F it and throw the house at us.

40 gets us in the game for Lacazzette or Benteke +1
I'd be ok with 35. Sterling is the most overvalued player on the planet right now. He's a one trick pony with an attitude problem.

We've officially rejected 30 right? I don't think we'd take any less than 40 tbh.

Pretty sure we've rejected 40. I was just saying I would have been fine with 35. Sterling isn't worth that much.

Agreed.
I'm excited for the new guys. Really looking forward to Cou and his compatriot linking up. I think Ferm has the potential to score bags of goals in our side.

Yea I think they rejected 40. But also I heard QPR gets 20% of what we receive for him. Can anybody else back me up on this? Makes it a lot easier to reject that 40mill bid

I don't know about 20%, but there is definitely a sell on clause in the deal with QPR.

Sterling needs to fire his agent and hire someone great in PR while growing the frick up. He says one thing in the media, only to let his actions say the exact opposite days later.
I'm leaning towards keeping him on his 35k a week and throwing him in the reserves for the next two years just to show that selfish little prick that's not how to be a professional. Hell, we bought him for 400k from QPR so when he signs after his contract runs out we'd still get a compensation fee for some kind f profit. Win/win

let him see out his contract on the bench
I've been secretly hoping for this scenario but I know we need to pull some serious cash for this c*nt. (It's my favorite too Stark)

Its 20% if domestic, 25% if he goes to the continent.

I don't know - I don't mind seeing him out on the bench and feel that if he wants to play in the euro he wil get in line at some point. There is te chance he decides we have enough ambition to match his. And finally if he leaves on a free it'll be the largest tribunal fee in history, but likely not more than 20m.
Then you have to weigh that against a few factors:
35k a week
Distraction
What we could do with 40m right now
Potential issues it could cause in signing other young standouts who feel we won't let them go when they want to.
Weight it all together and see what the best option is.
Eta - sorry for typos I'm on my phone.
