re: With ISIS carving out more territory each day, why haven't they attacked Israel?

Israel looks the other way while ISIS takes down the Syrian regime, which Israel sees as a greater threat. ISIS doesn't bother Israel as long as Israel leaves them alone.
The Middle East is a lot more complicated than people in the US want to believe. We don't have any friends over there, just allies of convenience. That includes Israel. And I believe Israel has the right to exist, and to defend itself. But I don't idealize them.

Because they prey on the weak and innocent. Israel would wipe those cowards from the face of the earth and they know it.

Israel is a nuclear power and I seriously doubt they would have any issue of dropping one on some Muslims.

you literally have no idea, do you?

ISIS hasn't exactly been "preying on the innocent and weak"

Because Israel would shite in their pillow case.

A number of countries in that region could "shite in their pillow case". Israel has other issues on their plate.
On a different note, hopefully Israel learns to stand by itself on certain issues and stops asking for big brother [USA] to aid them.

Israel has a very capable military (complete with nukes) and they would just love to use it...
ISIS would prefer to conquer small towns of goat herders and poppy growers who are armed with pitch forks and slingshots...

Israel would fricking destroy them if given a chance and we would back them.
The Holocaust basically gave Israel carte blanche to do whatever the frick they want to do and we will always support them.
Call it a guilty conscious for turning our heads to atrocities that happened 70 years ago if you want.

Why would they attack the people bankrolling their war?
Posted on 7/7/15 at 7:20 pm to genro
I just find it amazing that some people believe we wouldn't support them on anything sans a direct attack on America.

Do you even history, bro? The Isreali state owes its existence to the US. That's not merely convenience. The U.S. needs a presence in the region, out of a lot more than convenience.

Oh, uh. They've directly attacked us. Doesn't seem to matter either

Right, cause the U.S. has no vested interest in having a footprint in the Middle East, except to appease the American Jews and Christian lobbyists.
