Other than the early Champions League exit, 2014/2015 was a pretty successful season. Need to maintain the success domestically and do more in Europe. Looking forward to what should be a more competitive and enthralling campaign.

Players In:
Radamel Falcao (LOAN): Striker. Nightmare loan spell at Old Trafford. Seems to be past his best, but could possibly be a better fit in Mourinho’s system. Could also benefit from not having the same high expectations he had going into last season.
Nathan: Attacking Midfielder. Reported 4.5 Million Pounds from Atletico Paranaense. Will reportedly spend the 2015/16 season on loan at Vitesse.
Christian Manea (Supposedly): Right Back. Reported 2.3 Million Pounds from Viitorul Constanta.
Players Out:
Didier Drogba
Petr Cech
Gael Kakuta
Loan Watch:
Lewis Baker: CM (Vitesse)
Mario Pasalic: CM (Monaco)
Christian Atsu: RW (Bournemouth)
Transfer Rumors:
Kenedy: Forward—Fluminense. Often compared to Hulk (Expected to complete move this week for 6.3 Million Pounds)
Antoine Griezmann: Forward—Atletico Madrid. Extremely talented, versatile player. Can play wide, up front or just behind striker.
Paul Pogba: Midfield—Juventus. Chelsea are rumored to be competing for his signature along with every other top club in Europe.
Antonio Rudiger: Center Back—VfB Stuttgart. Very athletic. Wolfsburg also rumored to be interested.
Asmir Begovic: Goalkeeper—Stoke City. Wouldn’t be surprised to see the deal go through this week. Will be a great backup for Courtois with Cech moving to Arsenal.
Baba Rahman: Left Back—FC Augsburg. Roma reportedly have offered higher wages. Not really necessary unless Luis leaves.

Chelsea hold Wembley discussions
quote:
Chelsea have only held preliminary discussions with Wembley about using the national stadium whilst their Stamford Bridge home is redeveloped.
Some reports on Tuesday suggested an eight-figure fee had already been offered by the reigning Premier League champions as they look at options for a temporary home.
Wembley is seen as Chelsea's preferred option but there are other venues, such as Twickenham, which could host their fixtures and are being looked at.
quote:
The Times earlier reported Tuesday that Chelsea were ready to pay £11 million a year to use the stadium
In addition, the newspaper said the Blues made the offer to Wembley Stadium's board and were leading the race over Spurs, who they say offered £8 million a year, to occupy the ground.

Mikel rumors will not die. I think it would be a huge loss. When he comes in, the game is basically over.
ETA: Mourinho says he wants to keep everybody + make three new signings
From June so I'm assuming Falcao and Begovic are the first two. Would leave one more.

I am honestly not the biggest Mikel fan, but I can respect that he's decent depth.

From ESPNFC Today:
Ali Krieger is a Chelsea fan.
Rapinoe doesn't like Chelsea because they have the ability to play good football but don't

Ok so I was driving back to work from lunch to today and I saw this eastern european looking fellow walking the street wearing the 2015/16 home kit.

Didn't even catch the fact that McEachran moved to Brentford on a permanent deal earlier today. Really hope he revives his career.
Oh and here's this.

Congrats to Cesc!
I want to keep Mikel. He locks up the W when he comes in.
We need to get active in the market and seal the deal on a couple of guys. I want Griezman talk to restart... We need some more creative scorers outside of Hazard.
