I don't understand how guys like this make it, yet police routinely shoot dogs and beat the frick out of petty criminals

Cocomo is kinda right here. I mean JP has pretty much molded his entire life around the incident. He goes all over the country talking about it and he never misses an opportunity to discuss it here.
So you're criticizing a guy who was kidnapped and sexually abused as a child who then devotes his life to advocating for victims of similar crimes?
Even if he is weird - he gets a pass.
I get that the OT is full of e-hardasses but good lord. We may need to have a Normal People with Empathy OT Board.

Vigilantly justice. Needs to happen more often.
Except when they get the wrong guy. Happens often enough with all the checks and balances in our justice system. I shudder to think what would happen if we outsourced it to mob rule.
Hard to feel any sympathy for this guy, but it's not a path we want to start down as a society.

Good riddance
Good riddance indeed! here are some details. LINK(Officials refuse comment about murder victim's criminal history)
Noce was accused of forcing a 4-year-old child to perform sexual acts. The alleged abuse continued until the victim was 8-years-old. The child was reportedly left in Noce’s care by the victim’s mother.
There is a report report provides explicit details about the sexual abuse that occurred.
The mother and Noce broke up and eventually the child told her mother and Noce was arrested. He spent 19 days in jail before being bonded out. (19 days! Remember this !)
Noce was originally charged with aggravated rape by the East Baton Rouge Sheriff’s Office. He was arrested on August 4, 2012.
On January 24, 2013, a grand jury returned an indictment for aggravated rape.
On June 22, 2015, Noce pleaded "no contest" (neither admitted to nor denied) to a charge of carnal knowledge of a juvenile. He was sentenced to 10 years in prison and was given credit for time served.( Umm according to the article he had served 19 days) The remainder of the sentence was suspended by Judge Trudy White and Noce was placed on supervised probation for five years.
Ok, so he served 19 day for a crime that lasted 4 years, was perpetrated on a very young child and that he was sentenced to 10 years for but got it suspended for "time served".( Even if he had been in jail since he was first arrested, that would only be 3 years. but he bonded out after 19 days!
Judge Trudy White seems to have made a grave error that will hopefully lead to her losing her position. Screw her, she has no business dealing out justice if she can free this monster so casually.
Sorry but I have no mercy for him. There is no justice in allowing a man like that to be free when a child has been badly abused and scarred for life. That child needs the assurance that he is locked away forever or dead.
I swear, I have visions that if i ever had a terminal illness, i would love to just find a POS like this molester and go shoot him dead. If I'm gonna die anyway this will be like my last gift to the world.
Let me take the trash out when I go. Let some child have the peace in life in knowing that the man who raped them is now gone forever and can never touch them again.

Aggravated rape laws and sentencing: LINK
"(2) if the victim was under the age of thirteen years, as provided by Paragraph A(4) of this Section:
(a) And if the district attorney seeks a capital verdict, the offender shall be punished by death or life imprisonment at hard labor without benefit of parole, probation, or suspension of sentence, in accordance with the determination of the jury....
(b) And if the district attorney does not seek a capital verdict, the offender shall be punished by life imprisonment at hard labor without benefit of parole, probation, or suspension of sentence...."
So his azz should have been put away forever but the judge let him bargain down to "carnal knowledge"
So what is "carnal knowledge" according to the law?
A. Felony carnal knowledge of a juvenile is committed when:
(1) A person who is seventeen years of age or older has sexual intercourse, with consent, with a person who is thirteen years of age or older but less than seventeen years of age, when the victim is not the spouse of the offender and when the difference between the age of the victim and the age of the offender is four years or greater; or
(2) A person commits a second or subsequent offense of misdemeanor carnal knowledge of a juvenile, or a person who has been convicted one or more times of violating one or more crimes for which the offender is required to register as a sex offender
The victim was age 4-8 so this does NOT sound like "carnal knowledge".
I am not a lawyer and am trying to understand this. How on earth was this POS free??? WTF was the judge thinking?
The more I think about the fact that Noce was beaten, stabbed and strangled, the more i think it looks like a suicide. Sure, cuz if he can rape a child for 4 years and get the laws bent to where he only get charged with a lesser crime and no jail time then we can bend the laws of homicide investigations and conclude this was a suicide.
Times like these are when I really hope there is a hell. I hope that bastage suffered a lot before he died.

Thanks. If I ever happen upon his grave, I will know to take a huge dump on it.
Assuming he did it, and this wasn't a "bitches be crazy" thing.

I hope this brings a focus on this case and exposes why it was allowed to happen like this.
I hope that more of his victims (because if he did it to one child, you know there were more victims) will come forward and tell their story.
Frankly, I think there were MORE victims and whose to say that another victim's family member didn't just go wipe him out. It could have even been a member of his family because he probably did nasty things to small children in his extended family.
I wonder why the "officials" are being so hush-hush now on the details.
As far as the "bitches be crazy" possibility, I have issues with the mom leaving her small child (especially a female child) with this man repeatedly at night for 4 years.
I would love to know more about the entire story but i also respect the young victim. I don't want her story dragged out and publicized because she could likely be identified.
I hope she has had good counseling and someone who has better sense than her stupid mother who left her alone with this man all the time. ( I know the mom was living with or involved with this man.)

Zachary Police over the weekend handed over the probe to the East Baton Rouge Parish Sheriff’s Office, which sometimes occurs depending on the complexities of a case, Zachary Police Chief David McDavid said. LINK
Interesting that the "complexities" of this case have it being taken over by EBRSO. That has hints of corruption or some-other kind of coverup to me. It NEVER should have happened that he was allowed to just go free.
Yeah, I'm pissed and ranting.

Trudy White is and will continue to be an idiot. Whenever you see questionable or ridiculous decisions made in BR, it is by her. She is usually letting black people off with really light or no sentences, while throwing the book at white people. I wouldn't put it past her stupidity to let this guy go.
Hopefully all of the evidence was "mishandled" and will be inadmissible in court
