Has there been any update or rumors regarding is availability for fall practice?

Publicly, still the same story (making positive steps). We won't know anything until fall though I'm guessing.

It's said that he is finishing the strides he needs to make in the classroom this summer, and is expected in the fall. All this "the longer it doesn't happen, the greater chance it never will happen" (as if it's somehow a day-to-day thing) is ignorance. You will either see him this fall, or you won't. In my opinion I think we will see him in the fall. If his situation was out of control, Valentine himself would have likely transferred to a JUCO. It's not like the kid is just going to sit here for 4 years and graduate. I'd keep my expectations high for Valentine.

I just took a class with him. He went to maybe three classes and didn't even show up for the final although all of his teammates came. I don't expect him to play here. He was a really nice guy, but I don't think he's ever been forced to actually go to school in his life.

The word out there is that Mr.Powe is still hanging on by a hair.
