I never understood the appeal of being so proud of owning a fricking ice chest that you you have to let everyone know you have one by the bumper sticker on your car.

For day drinking the best cooler is a $29 roller Igloo from Academy. Lightweight and portable.
Your ice won't last that long anyways if you are always opening and closing to get beer out.
Yetis are best for long hunting/fishing trips and that's about it.

Agreed. I could never bring myself to spend $300 on an icechest when I don't hunt and I rarely ever fish. Don't get me wrong, I think they are awesome, just very overpriced. However I will never knock someone for having one. Putting the sticker on their truck is a different story.
I do have a Yeti cup and a yeti coozie. For $35 and $30 respectively, considering i use the cup daily and the coozie weekly, I consider them a great deal.
Edit: I threw away my stickers for both the cup and the coozie. Gotta cover my arse here on the OT.
