Any sort of small popping bug will work for bass and bream when the topwater bite is on.

Common bass flies are Clouser Minnow, Deceiver, Wooly Bugger, whistlers, streamers. You’re just trying to imitate what they would eat naturally. In rivers and creeks this might be a crawfish pattern. In lakes it might be a baitfish pattern.

For bream you’ll want an assortment of dry and wet flies. I think matching the hatch is a good idea no matter what you’re fishing for. If mayflies are everywhere, fish a mayfly pattern. Nymphs, terrestrials, spiders...anything imitating a small bug or insect larvae will catch bream. Lookup Miller’s fly shop online. He ties good flies and has a wide selection sorted by fish species
