TFO Mangrove. Its great for marsh, but I feel like it lacks some punch with the wind.

My friend has one and I agree. Kinda crappy in the wind but a really solid rod nonetheless. I wasn't sure if you were referring to the rod not being fast or the reel. If you want a faster rod, just stay with 8 and throw a few until you find one you like.

I have found that my TFO's are not great in windy conditions as well, just my opinion.
