People talk about actors that are the same character in every movie they are in and Jack Black is the very definition of that.

He's done some serious stuff (and even some rom-coms) where he's very different than his "character".

Not a fan of JB, but would have been OK if he won an award for Bernie. That's how much I loved his character.

I really don't understand the hate for Jack Black. At all. He's funny in pretty much every movie he's in, and he's a pretty decent serious actor too. He was great in King Kong, and I think he is gonna nail it as R.L. Stine in the new Goosebumps movie.

He's a guy that you either like or you don't like because he just plays himself in whatever he's doing usually

If you like Jack black everything is great, and if you don't you probably think he's the worst thing ever

Nothing wrong with that and I enjoy him for the most part

Those of you knocking Jables obviously have never seen Heatvision and Jack.

My wife never fails to roll her eyes when we are grilling kielbasa and I start whistling the D's song of the same name.

Plus Saving Silverman is some of his best work. He's one of the most talented singer/songwriter/actors of our or any generation:
