If you mean this place, just a heads-up to those who don't know. You don't actually get pizza there. It's a "pot pie" of cheese, sauce, and shite. Some people absolutely love it. But, it's not your normal pie.

do you mean this place?
Yes...I ate there last Friday and it was a very wonderful and unique experience.
First of all this place is right across the street from where the 1929 Valentine's Day massacre took place (Al Capone)...you are correct, its not your usual place...they only accept cash. that's right---CASH ONLY ALL OTHERS CAN POUND SAND.
When we got there there was about 30 or 40 people already waiting on seats and every table in that tiny place is full...there is no person at the front putting names on the list...in fact there is no list!
you have to find the "guy wearing the tie" and track him down and tell him you need a table for x. Then he says, ok, I'll come find you when your table is ready...we squeeze into the little bar area and have a drink and 20 minutes later guy in the tie comes and taps us for our table.
The place is really cozy, old schoool wooden booths with coat handers on each...dim lighting and though small and busy, still quiet enough to have a nice conversation. They make pizza pot pies and they make them in bowls and the turn the bowl updside down and dump it out on your plate. it takes a half hour to make the pie. your only choices are "sausage or no sausage", "mushrooms or no mushrooms" or "wheat or white crust).
The Pizza pies were incredible and like nothing i've ever had. But first the three of us shared a giant Mediterranean bread which was the highlight of the menu for us. this thing is the size of a X large pizza and they have 4 or 5 homemade dipping sauces that come with it. so freaking awesome.
We topped it off with their vanilla ice cream with rum desert. so damn good. had to unbutton the pants to walk out.
