Holy shite, how does this comparison keep getting made? The south was exercising their right to secede at the time, over what was a very controversial issue. Slavery was wrong, but to compare it to the holocaust is just stupid.

Nazi Germany was attempting to remove an entire race from existence. They killed 6 million Jews and waged war with the world over it.
